Noah's Ark Wood Fretwork Cross

The "Book of Genesis" tells the story of Noah's Ark.

As you look at the cross you will notice the rainbow above the cross showing that the rains have stopped and the dove is checking to see the waters have receded enough for all to leave the ark.

I cut this cross on my scroll saw. The cross is made with two layers of Maple Plywood. The Bottom layer is stained with an espresso stain to contrast the top which I have left natural. After gluing the top fretwork to the base I spray the completed project with numerous coats of satin lacquer and attach a metal sawtooth hanger on the back so its ready to hang as soon as you receive it
